How to get to Boquete

Boquete is only at 46 kms from David. From the Panamerican highway coming from Panama, you take a right turn where the new shopping center “El Terronal” is located (“Supermercado El Rey”, “Farmacias Arrocha”, etc.). Right in front is also the traditional supermarket from Chiriqui, “Super Baru”. The road is in perfect state and the landscape makes it a very pleasant trip. Before you get to downtown Boquete, you will find a lookout to the right, where you will be able to appreciate the gorgeous valley with the Caldera river in the middle. A “CEFATI” or tourism information center is located here. If you wish to stay here, there are plenty of alternatives and most relatively economycal. Here you can find a double room for B/.20.00 to B/.80.00 depending on the place.
