Tourism Boquete Chiriqui

In the month of January of each year, Boquete dresses up to receive the visitors that come to its famous Fair of the Flowers and Coffee, an event where producers show their products in a festive frame of great scenic beauty.
In front of the CEFATI (the tourism bureau of Panama information center), to the left hand, is the access to Volcancito. In this place, locals and visitors can enjoy a sunny day at the facilities of La Estancia Hostal (Tel: 774-3117), where young and old spend a fun day on the pool and coming down on the tobogans of the place, while enjoying a very good meal.
At El Explorador, located at Jaramillo Arriba, where on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. opens the doors of a private farm converted into a big garden with recycled goods that have been transformed into attractions to the visitor. Here, you find beautifull rose gardens, a great variety of plants, and in each corner, thoughts of great wisdom.
Mi garden is your garden: That is the hous of “Los Gonzalez” of of “Lalo Gonzalez” but is better known as My Garden is Your Garden. It’s a residence of singular beauty: nearly 12 persons work full time taking care, cleaning and planting beautifull gardens with more than 200 species of flowers, with artificial creeks and ponds where hundreds of carp fish live and reproduce. It is one of the great attractions of Boquete.
A visit to the top of “Volcan Baru” or Baru Volcano: it is a totally thrilling adventure. In its track you will be able to appreciate the Mountainous Wet Forest, the Cloudy Tropical Forest, and the panoramic view of both Oceans at the highest point of the Republic of Panama.
Birdwatching is one of the main attractions of Boquete. The “Quetzal”, considered one of the most exotic birds.
